The Shorewood Public Library put on a “Read-It” Winter Reading Program sponsored by Kiwanis North Shore Milwaukee. For the “Read-It” program, children grades K4 through 5th were invited to pick-up a reading log and pin. When they finished, they received a prize bag with a coupon for a free pizza from Ian’s Pizza along with a personalized pencil, stickers, bookmark, and an invitation to our pizza party for all participants. Every year we’ve seen an increase in the Winter Reading Program participants.

Tristann owns the Brass Bell and MKE Treasures. Brass Bell has partnered with Kiwanis North Shore for many years helping the community by repairing musical instruments and offering them to those children in need of musical expression.
